Artemis | Telesurgery to connect to the safest surgeons
Artemis mission: Providing safe surgical care, no matter the location.
Hospitals strive to deliver consistent and safe care to their communities. Nationwide staffing shortages make it increasingly challenging to deliver timely, cost-effective surgical care where patients need it most.
Artemis pioneers telesurgery to connect surgeons to patients regardless of location. By using existing robotic systems and consoles, surgeons perform telesurgery on patients whether they are 20 feet or 2,000 miles away.
Using a hub-and-spoke model, we establish console hubs that extend surgical coverage to surrounding hospitals. As we continue to demonstrate the safety and reliability of our platform and maintain secure connection with latency under 150 ms, we aim to expand telesurgery to remote and underserved areas. These include underutilized urban operating rooms, rural areas, combat zones, and even space
